1940年代のUSNAVYのユニフォームとして着用されたニットキャップをベースに畦編み、段リブ、4本ロックミシン、減らし目という技法を用いて一つのニット帽を製作しました。
当時1940年代ではニット帽子専門工場はなく手袋やジャケットのリブを製作する工場で一緒に編まれていたため、途中までは同じ工程で編まれたのち縫製されていました。
サイドには『H.W.PUPPY』のかすれプリントの入るデザインです。

Based on the knit caps worn as uniforms by the US Navy in the 1940s, we produced a single knit cap using a technique of knitting between the legs, stepped ribs, a 4-strand lock sewing machine, and reduced stitching.
In the 1940s, there were no factories specializing in knit hats, but they were knitted together at factories that produced ribs for gloves and jackets, so they were knitted in the same process up to the halfway point and then sewn.
The design has a blurred print of “H.W.PUPPY” on the side.
