Description
1940年代頃のUS.NAVYに広く被られていたワッチキャップをベースに製作。
この時代のワッチキャップの特徴として、裾は畔ふり編みで伸び止めの縫製、クラウン本体はリブ編みでハイゲージに、天井は畦編みでロックミシンで縫製されています。
１つのニットキャップで３度編み方が変わり、縫製は2本針からなる細かなディティールが詰まっています。
これらの技術を再現した拘りの強いウール素材のワッチキャップです。
折り返しの癖をつけていない為、1ロールで深めに、2ロールで浅めにもご自身のスタイリングに合わせた被り方をして頂けます。

Characteristic features of watch caps from this era include a hem finished with a ribbed stitch to prevent stretching, a high-gauge rib-knit crown, and a top finished with a flat knit and sewn with a lockstitch machine.
This single knit cap features three different knitting techniques and is packed with intricate details, including stitching done with a two-needle machine.
This meticulously crafted wool watch cap faithfully reproduces these traditional techniques.
Since the brim has not been pre-shaped, you can wear it in a shallower style by rolling it back once or a deeper style by rolling it back twice, depending on your preferred look.
