40S WATCH

1940년대의 USNAVY의 유니폼으로서 착용된 니트 캡을 베이스로 기름 뜨개질, 단리브, 4개 록 재봉틀, 줄어드는 기법을 이용해 하나의 니트 모자를 제작했습니다.

당시 1940년대에서는 니트 모자 전문 공장은 없고 장갑이나 재킷의 리브를 제작하는 공장에서 함께 짠 것이었기 때문에, 도중까지는 같은 공정으로 짠 뒤 봉제되고 있었습니다.

사이드에는 「HWPUPPY」의 흐림 프린트가 들어가는 디자인입니다.

Based on the knit caps worn as uniforms by the US Navy in the 1940s, we produced a single knit cap using a technique of knitting between the legs, stepped ribs, a 4-strand lock sewing machine, and reduced stitching.

In the 1940s, there were no factories specializing in knit hats, but they were knitted together at factories that produced ribs for gloves and jackets, so they were knitted in the same process up to the halfway point and then sewn.

The design has a blurred print of “HWPUPPY” on the side.
