The herringbone check cotton flannel used for the crown features a soft, brushed texture and a warm feel.

The brim is made from cowhide nubuck.
Nubuck, which is made by napping the grain side of leather, offers a smooth, velvety texture, high durability, and an elegant aging that deepens with use.

The contrast between the different materials adds an old-school yet sophisticated impression.
The front features a vintage-inspired "D" chain-stitch embroidery, while the back is embroidered with "THE H.W.DOG&CO."
