The all-black design is a hallmark of BLACKish, so the applique patch on the front, the inside of the brim, the metal fittings on the size adjustment belt, and the dog tag are all black.

The dog tag on this product (BLACKish) is not made of paper, but is made of tanned cowhide leather.
The size can be adjusted using the adjuster on the back.
