40s Watch Cap - Black

This knit cap is based on the US Navy watch cap from the 1940s.

After making it using the whole garment method, four cotton threads were sewn together using a serger, and the top was made from six pieces, using techniques such as peeled rib knitting, stepped ribbing, and decreasing stitches to create a single knitted hat.

At the time, there were no factories that specialized in hats, so hats were knitted together with gloves and jacket ribbing in factories that produced them, and so they were knitted using the same process up to a certain point and then sewn together.

We incorporate these details into our products.

The hat is one size fits all and can be worn comfortably by people measuring 56-63cm.It is made from stretchy yarn with good rebound.

This knit cap is produced based on the 1940s US.Navy watch cap.

After being made by WHOLEGARMENT, the cap is sewn with a 4-strand cotton lockstitch machine, and the ceiling is knitted with the techniques of 6-ply, ribbed, and reduced stitching.

At that time, there were no specializing in hats, and hats were knitted factories together at factories that produced ribs for gloves and jackets, so they were knitted and sewn in the same process up to the halfway point.

The details of the hat were incorporated into the production process.

This hat is a free size and can be worn by 56-63CM people without stress, and is knitted with elastic yarn with kickback.
