The rectangular front panel makes it easier to include advertisements or illustrations on the front compared to a 6-panel cap, and this style was often used for corporate advertising. The front is slightly angular, and when viewed from the back, it has a deep silhouette similar to a 6-panel cap.
The body is made of a glossy cotton-nylon Grunge 64 cloth fabric, which has been salt-shrunk during processing, giving it a characteristic dry texture that resembles a worn-in look.
I think this is an item that goes particularly well with American casual styles, such as work and biker styles.
