The Newspaper Boys' Cap originated from the caps worn by children who delivered newspapers during the Great Depression in the United States in the 1930s.

The body is made of 14-wale corduroy fabric.

14 wale corduroy is slightly thicker than fine wale corduroy and has a moderate firmness.

The appealing features of corduroy are its unique fuzziness, which gives it a glossy, soft color, and uneven texture. The uneven texture allows air to be trapped within the fabric, giving it excellent heat retention and moisture absorption properties.

I think one of the fun things about the fall and winter seasons is coordinating different materials while matching colors.
