It has a grade 4 short brim and a deer drop crown.

A Panama hat is a type of hat made from woven toquilla grass, native to Ecuador. It is said to have first been worn by farmers in the coastal regions of Ecuador and the highlands of the Andes around the 17th century to protect themselves from the strong sun and rain .

When construction of the Panama Canal began in the 19th century, the then American President Theodore Roosevelt wore one when he visited the canal, and the hat became known worldwide as the Panama hat.

Only hats originating in Ecuador are allowed to be called Panama hats, and our brand uses hats that are carefully hand-woven one by one by local artisans, with ribbons and brims attached domestically.
