This single-breasted beanie has a deep, relaxed silhouette, so it gives a natural look when worn loosely and with volume at the back. There are various theories about the origin of the beanie, but it is said that it originally began as a helmet worn by workers such as mechanics and welders, made from four or six pieces of felt fabric joined together with a top button.

The name "beanie" is said to have originated from the fact that the top button resembles a bean, so work caps with this shape were called "beanies ," and the name stuck.
