This is a knitted hat with a crocheted brim.

It is often called a knit hat or crochet hat. The KNIT HAT I created this time has a dropped brim and looks like it is made of knit material, making it easy to handle, and the fabric is wool, making it a hat that is easy to use in the coming season.

Here I will briefly touch on the history of crochet.

There are various theories about the origins of knitwear, but it is said that crocheted hats and socks were discovered in ancient ruins in Syria and Egypt, and it spread to Europe in the 4th and 5th centuries, when wool production was thriving. In Europe, where temperatures are low, wool's warmth was considered a necessity, so it spread naturally.

It is said that knitwear first became popular in Japan around 1600 , just before the Edo period, when hand-knitted gloves and socks were introduced by the Portuguese and Spanish.
