This knit cap is based on the US Navy watch cap from the 1940s .

While the TWICE D WATCH we previously introduced was modeled after the 4- panel US NAVY from the 1980s , this one is modeled after the 6-panel US NAVY from the 1940s , giving it a more vintage feel with more detailed design.

To create the CHAIN ​​40s BEANIE, a variety of techniques were used, including garter stitch, step ribbing, four- row overlock stitching, and decrease stitches, to complete this knitted hat.

This is because during the war, there were no factories that only made knitted hats, and they were knitted and sewn using the same process as factories that made gloves, jacket ribs, etc., a process so complex that it is unimaginable in modern times.

The fabric is made of a slightly rough, dense wool, allowing you to enjoy the realistic texture and atmosphere of the time.

The folded rib is hand-embroidered with " HW DOG CO. " using a vintage handle chain stitch machine.

The folded rib can be rolled up to make the hat shallower or deeper depending on your style.

This item is made from 100% wool , so it has excellent heat retention and is easy to coordinate with knits, sweatshirts, outerwear, etc. in the coming season.
