Hatters の顧客、ノーフォークの貴族トーマス・コーク氏の依頼により、ウィリアム・ボーラーが制作した帽子がルーツと言われています。James Lock \u0026amp; Co. Hatters は顧客の名を取り「コークハット」と名付けましたが、一般には製作者の名を冠した「ボーラーハット」として広く知られるようになりました。\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:218\"\u003eもっとも、ウィリアム・ボーラーが手がける以前の1821年頃にも、ボーラーハットに似た形状の帽子が存在したという説もあります。また、トーマス・コーク氏の父も James Lock \u0026amp; Co.
